Our story
More important than the taste of food is the person with whom you share the moment.
Garden of the Gods Market and Café’s story began in 2001 on 26th street in Old Colorado City. Though we have moved a couple times in the 20 years we have been open, our commitment to excellent food has stayed the same.

In our new location you’ll find fan favorites like the Curry Chicken Salad, Mountain Man Hash and Southwest Eggs Benedict. We are also excited to feature additional items to our menu that also cater to our gluten friendly, vegetarian and vegan patrons.

Be sure to peruse our grab-and-go section full of ready prepared meals, fresh baked pastries, desserts and a myriad local items perfect for singles, families and simply those on the ‘go.’ 

Chef ARIEL

No matter what age, race, religion or culture, food is forever our common ground. Food is the language of the universe, the table is what brings people together.
Chef Ariel started cooking in a kitchen at the young age of 15. A lover of exceptional flavors and food – she knew a life in the kitchen was in store for her long term. Training in many kitchens and enriching herself in many cultures and flair in the culinary world, Chef Ariel is well versed in many cuisines including French and Japanese. Chef Ariel has been with Altitude Hospitality over five years assisting both at Till and Sprig Eats. She is thrilled to see what Garden of the Gods Market and Café can bring to Downtown Colorado Springs in the form of an elevated breakfast experience by way of exceptional hospitality and scratch cooking.
